Rough start. Need to spend diamonds on chests to upgrade gear to pass levels. Youll struggle otherwise. But then the grind isnt as horrid. Plays better offline. Started with 1 star review, ill give 3 now. Ads are too much. Too many micros and p2w nonsense. The gear that spawns at the final waves of a level, tends to suggest gear awarded for watching ads, sometimes with no gear obtainable without an ad watch. Better hope the last wave you did wasnt a struggle when those moments do happen.

First; $20 to go ad-free?! That is insane. I like the game, but not THAT much. Second; it's not pay-to-win, but definitely watch-ads-to-win. More bag space? Ad. Upgrade? Ad. And so on. Suggestions to devs: You've got to reduce that no-ad charge substantially. I typically pay for ad-free, but usually around a few bucks, maximum. Increase the amount of tiles (squares). Some of those weapons take up quite a bit of space, and only being able to "hold" one weapon isn't conducive to upgrading.

the game is the same as the ad. ironically that you will spend half the time watching ads trying to play the game. it's fun and I gave it a honest shot. I can't keep watching an ad every wave. the ads are 30sec+. they even give you a choice to watch a ad to get a random amount of "skip ads" tickets. so they know it's ridiculous
